We see each customer as unique, which is why all of our services can be completely personalized to fit the specific needs of your property. We are a fully accredited installer of the services shown below.

UNDERFLOOR INSULATION

Insulating a floor means adding an insulating material beneath the floorboards, thereby reducing heat escaping through the floor into the ground. Approximately 15% of heat is lost from a house via this route. Insulation also acts to prevent draughts from coming up through the floorboards.

LOFT INSULATION

Loft insulation is a barrier of material in your roof space that traps heat. It can either be laid between the joists (the horizontal beams along the floor of your attic) or the rafters (the angled beams that support the roof).

WALL INSULATION

Internal wall insulation is used to insulate solid wall properties by fitting insulation to the inside walls of your home, creating a thermal barrier between the inside of your home and the outdoor, dramatically reducing heat loss.

ABOUT US

JMJ Joiners and Developers is a joinery company specialising in the insulation of domestic properties. It is a family-owned business and limited company registered in Scotland. As a joinery company, we have always been acutely aware of the importance of well-insulated buildings and cost-effective heating. The climate emergency and the UK’s net-zero climate targets however have meant that the importance of these is now much more clearly understood - according to the Energy Savings Trust our homes contribute around 22% of all the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions. There is now an urgent need to support households with new and improved insulation. As well as fitting insulation we undertake all aspects of joinery from the supply and fitting of kitchens, bathrooms, doors, and flooring to garage conversions and renovations.

The underlying principle behind all that we do is our desire to support households in maximizing their energy efficiency and reducing their energy bills.
